Ubaid Khokhar, MD
Dr. Ubaid Khokhar is an American Board Certified Psychiatrist who moved from Nashville, TN to live in Florida. He works at Orange Park Medical Center, Behavioral Health Unit on 2 South. He provides care for the medically ill patients through Consultation & Liaison service.
Dr. Khokhar is working with the Psychiatry Residency Program at Orange Park Medical Center. He provides lectures and helps in training the Residents to become knowledgeable and confident Psychiatrists. He is also working with medical students from VCOM, helping the students with their Psychiatry rotations.
Dr. Khokhar takes pride in providing extraordinary care for his patients.

While attending Medical School he decided to become a Psychiatrist. He received his post graduate training by some of the most seasoned and knowledgeable faculty members who are his role models.

Dr. Khokhar specializes in treating PTSD, Conversion Disorder, (Seizure V Pseudo Seizures), Anxiety disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Spectrum Disorder, Schizophrenia related Psychotic Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Personality Disorders.

Suhas Joshi, MD
Dr. Suhas Joshi is a board certified psychiatrist and is currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida. Dr. Joshi received his board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. Dr. Joshi graduated from the Bangalore Med Coll, Bangalore Univ, Bangalore, Karnataka, India in 1979. He is currently working with FCPS to treat patients in Clay County and surrounding areas.
Dr. Joshi is affiliated with Orange Park Medical Center and Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He treats conditions such as, ADHD, adjustment disorder, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and schizophrenia.

Kevin McCarthy, APRN
Kevin McCarthy graduated from Florida Atlantic University and started his career in 2003 as a family nurse practitioner. In 2013 he graduated from the University of North Florida as a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner. Kevin is certified as a family nurse practitioner and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. He has worked closely with Psychologists, Primary Care Providers, and other Medical Specialists to assist patients back to wellness, which gives him the ability to focus on both the physical and psychiatric needs of his patients. He can diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, attention deficit disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and chemical dependency.
Kevin treats each patient, identifying physical, emotional, spiritual and environmental challenges that affect their wellbeing. He believes that medication management, therapy, and emotional support will assess the patient back to wellness.

Carla Schlenke, DNP, ANP-BC, PMHNP-BC
Carla Schlenke has ten years’ experience as an open heart/critical care nurse. She graduated from the University of Florida with her Adult Nurse Practitioner degree and passed the national boards in 2007.
She graduated with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree in 2013 with a focus of dementia and death and dying. She has nine years of Internal Medicine experience, including office, nursing home and hospital-based practice. She obtained her post-doctorate psychiatric mental health degree and passed the national boards, and has been a Psychiatric, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, providing hospital/inpatient and outpatient care since 2015.

Katherine Black, LCSW
Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has lived in Clay County for over 20 years. She graduated from Florida State University in 2014 with a Master’s degree in Social Work. she has worked in health care settings for over 15 years. She has extensive experience working with culturally diverse populations and medically complex patients. She has worked in mental health since 2017 and has seen patients with a variety of diagnosis including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, chronic health issues, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
A key component to her practice is in developing a collaborative, compassionate, authentic, and comfortable therapeutic relationship with her clients. Therapy should be a safe place, and Katie will assist you in exploring the past, creating peace in the present, and feeling hope for the future.

Kayleigh Rodgers
Kayleigh helps keep our clinic organized and patient care seamless by managing medical records, preparing letters, and supporting a variety of administrative tasks. She is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to making sure patients receive the documentation and support they need in a timely manner. With her dedication and team-oriented approach, Kayleigh plays an important role in ensuring our office runs smoothly and our patients feel well cared for.

Maggi Thompson
Maggi plays an essential role in supporting both our team and our patients by handling prior authorizations and assisting with other administrative needs. Her efficiency and attention to detail help ensure that our patients can access the care they need without unnecessary delays. Beyond her expertise, Maggi brings a bright and positive energy to the clinic.
